Oh no the horror my whole first little family has died. Dog included and the two babies How? Well I had a game crash and I had not saved a back up copy and could not get things to reload using steps found about backing up.... My question is I found the LDW folder with VirtualFamilies1.ldw & VirtualFamilies2.ldw But in that same folder is another file named VirtualFamilies0.ldw????? do I need to do something with that what is it?? The reason I question it is because I have a bit of an odd setup I must confess I am running linux and I run the game using www.winehq.org Things work fine but there is a crash every now and again .... and I had not backed anything up this time So for now on I will I just want to make sure I am backing up the right stuff

The file numbered zero contains settings, and it's usually a good idea to back up the entire folder. You can see more about backing up Virtual Families files in this post in our Guides Section.
