Three families and still no dragonfly in any! Am I missing it somehow? Have checked the Images file and it doesn't look like it would be that hard to spot. But then, I've never seen what it looks like against the grass. Has anyone ever been able to take a screenshot of the dragonfly before collecting it? I mean with no mods done. I'd like to see what it looks like, in case that's the only way I ever can!

The dragonfly is a rare bug, and I have never seen it either, but I'm putting a picture of the actual dragonfly as seen in the official image files against the grass so you can see what it would look like.

In a 'real' game the dragonfly might be both harder and easier to spot than that. Easier because the sparkles would appear round it and harder because it will most likely be darker since it's raining.

Good point arnie! I forgot it would only show up in the rain for a second there The sparkles do help, but the rain even makes the sparkles hard to see >_<

If you're able to use mods, the ones for the collectibles are GREAT, makes everything so much easier to see.

Yeah it does! but just so we know what to look for without mods, I did another image but this time in the rain, and with and without the sparkle..I used the brightest piece of the sparkle as an example.

Oh, I'm about to go to my 12th generation and the only bug I need is the dragonfly.

I would guess it is next to impossible to spot the dragonfly at night. (still waiting for first dragonfly to appear)

Well, Jenny, I must confess I had to go with that mod that enhances the collectibles. I was playing without it at first, but when I had just 2 more bugs to go I decided to change the original file for the mod.

The thought of losing the dragonfly was too much for me! *laughs*
