Totally new to the Forums, although I have been playing LDW vv/tycoon and now families for years!!

Anyway- do you give your families surnames? I started by giving them (I hope ;)) humourous surnames to match first names- very first adoptee was Dollar who became Dollar Purse- amazingly she had a child called Coin (or is that programmed to happen?!) - Coin Purse, with sibling Vegas Purse. When my next generation adoptees don't have such good match with their previous surname I use their marriage to create something more suitable (I have rules you know). Etna became Etna Mount- I am resisting the temptation to rename her kids Everest, Vesuvius etc!

Young Spider in Fam 5 may inherit his family home and become Spider Mann...the old ones are the best!

lol I hadn't even thought of doing this giving them last name this sounds like a fun idea going to do this sounds like you are having fun with this!

If the surnames don't fit I play with the first name a bit: I have a few rules so they don't all get lumbered with weird and wonderful combinations- wouldn't want them to get bullied at school!
