egustafson Trainee Registered: 02/25/06 Posts: 43	...because I have earned just over 1 million $ and it says I am ranked 23 in terms of money earned. However, on that top 50 site (that people post links to, but can't seem to find normally from clicking on menus)the 50th place person has over 2 million. So what's really up with how the internet stats relate to the list? Is there another list that is continuously updated that shows the internet statistics list??

egustafson Trainee Registered: 02/25/06 Posts: 43	Additionally, I love these names on the "leaderboard" kka ... he's played the game for a total of 75 hours and managed to earn over 1 billion $, selling 2 million fish at the price of $704 apiece. If Arthur can verify that there is a way to sell fish at the rate of over 26,000 per hour, or 444 per second, and that there is a price higher than the price we all know is the highest, then I'll buy this. Icewolf and kuri ... they've sold millions to billions of fish at the average price of a whopping $1 per fish. All in a span of a few hundred hours. ohad ... it only took him 19 hours of play to make his 343 million, selling over 1 million fish in those 19 hours. etc etc. Isn't it time we trash this list?

I'm soooooooooooooooo close!!! Gotta see Gramma Bobbie up on the board at least once. It's such a lofty goal, and so much fun! And besides.. I started a whole new game with that name .. just to claim my spot in stardom! Gotta get a screen shot ... like I have with my name on the Junkbot games. .... my only other true game obcession before LDW won my heart.

egustafson Trainee Registered: 02/25/06 Posts: 43	yeah, but wiping the list isn't the same as wiping out the games. If you still have a high scoring game on your computer, you can just resubmit it. I still don't see why my stats say I'm in 25th place when I'm obviously not according to that list.

Maybe Arthur can shed some light on this in his “spare” time. But I’m guessing that the leader board on the web page is actually “High Scores” from times past, and the stats you get on the program are from on going games (games in progress). This would help explain why the average “magic fish found” is only two. Don’t know for sure, just taking a stab in the dark _________________________ The VI

Then comparing how much money you have earned to the board would be how to tell if it's functioning right or not. Keep it up, and we'll have to change your name!

We are rewriting the leaderboard and community stats code from scratch. Not trying to put words in Arthur’s mouth, but I think he is saying that there might be an update only for 1.0 which would be out to us earlier, or that he may just wait and include the change when 1.1 comes out.
