Thank you I deleted game files still and reinstalling game still not opening look forward to hear from you in regards to my issue with Virtual Families tonight I went to uninstall and ran repair hoping this might help and I got this message:

The File C:\program files\shockwave.com virtual families\product\ldw.ini' is newer than the original file installed the date\time modified of the original file is: 4-23-2009 13: 40:26 the date /time modified of current file is 6-26-2009 21:02:42

The first date can't be right the first time I downloaded it was the middle of June not April didn't even know about this game in April? The only thing I can think of is my girls were messing with the computer date\time to make the people age faster they had read that you could do this and the last person on before it stopped working was my 8 yr old she may have messed the date up by going the wrong way could this have caused the game to stop working and if so why is it still doing it after I delete it and reinstall it?
