I think the most annoying thing about this game is that there is only one trash can in the entire house! It's no wonder there are so many "wrappers" all over the house, there's no place to toss them!

Now I don't know about everyone else, but in real life, I have some sort of trash receptacle in almost every room of my house. I think we should be able to purchase additional wastebaskets in the store, to go in other rooms. And then the peeps wouldn't have to walk from one end of the house to the other, just to throw away a wrapper. It's the worst when they get up into their golden years, and their arthritis is so bad, they can't hardly walk. I feel bad making them pick up a wrapper in the office, because they are going to have to walk all the way to the kitchen to throw it away. My peeps are all neat freaks and won't wait until that team of maids shows up to clean for them. All trash must be picked up as soon as they see it! smile

I was thinking the same thing, was hoping that maybe the office and/or shop upgrades would include a trash can. I know the wrappers are only in the house and not in the shop, but it would be closer for them to carry a wrapper from the laundry room or bathroom out to the shop than all the way to the kitchen, especially when they get older and slow down. As for the office, I was thinking that maybe they could throw the wrappers in the shredder rather than taking them to the kitchen.

I know, it is just painful to watch them walk through the entire house to throw away wrappers, not to mention how long it takes to clean up after the window is left open, especially if there are only 1 or 2 in the house.

If the wrapper or weed event happens when there are only elderly people left in the house, I leave them there until the next generation inherits the place. They can have them picked up in a fraction of the time it would have taken their parents to clean it up.
