Hey Sweetie, if you wait for them to die like the others suggested you don't have to pause your game. The house will get pretty dirty that way, BUT your money keeps accruing interest. If you stayed away from them awhile with them unpause you'd be surprised at how much money you have when yhou decide to go on with the game.
