Their preference for children means very little. They have no problem having kids even if they say "No Way." They might not have six kids, but they'll have one or two. I don't even look at what they say about kids anymore when I'm picking a peep to adopt or marry.

You can upgrade your house fully (yes, all possible upgrades) in the 2nd generation, by doing one simple thing: buy nothing except food in the 1st generation. In my families I usually have over $100,000 by the end of the 2nd generation. It's the interest rate that causes money to build up ridiculously fast. The less you spend, the faster the money will grow.
