Cannot cure him. He's been sick from age 4 through 8! Please advise.

How many times and how often have you treated him? I killed my first pet by overdosing him, although I don't think he was sick for 4 years! According to Carla, it should be safe to administer additional medication after at least one actual clock hour has elapsed. If that doesn't do the trick, then I'm out of ideas. Anyone else seen this?

Loopee died after a year illness! Never got well again. I treated twice within an 'actual' hour when 4 and 5 years old and then tried at 6, 7, 8 yrs old while waiting an actual hour.

Seemed strange to me like it was a software glitch.

that was my reply. Anyway after 4 years of being sick, the dog died. Software glitch? Only 8 years. I'm reading the hall of fame and dogs live till there 98?

It sounds like you did all the right things. I don't know if the "Adoption Center" offers pets that might be predisposed to illness, but my last pet seemed to be sick at least every other morning when I checked on him. He always responded to treatment, though. Maybe the folks at LDW have some insight into this?

Sometimes a pet is not responsive to medication even multiple times. This is rare, but normal.

one of my pets, stevie (2), was sick for I think 4 years too but since, at the time, I had the unregistered version, I was unable to give meds and the pet died, it's in the cemetary of my game ...

so what happened?
were you able to cure the pet?
or did it die? and adopt a new one?
or did it get old, die then come back to you?
