Hi There, i'm new to this game, and have my first family. Mum and dad had 4 kids and 3 went to uni, the mum and dad have just died leaving the 16 year old daugter, what should i do, how do i get her a job to earn money?

Thanks Barbara, that now makes sense, I think i will jump to make her in her mid 20th to take hold of the house- how do i actually do this?

To answer your question, go to the Family screen. At the top is a New Generation button. Click on that. Then you can scan through all the children in the family and decide which one you want to inherit the house. When you know which one you want, click on Adopt (I think that is what it is) at the bottom of the screen. Good luck on your second generation!
