Last night I started a new game, with a lady named Pacifica. She married Ben(,changed by me,) and had a little kid, Leo( also changed by me). So, it seems as though I left the game unpaused, or/and my dad might have accidentaly changed the time, but when I came back, only little Leo, age three, was left! cry She's all alone!
Edit: I saw her "exited about the new baby"!?. I think she's going nuts!

I am assuming you mean that her parents died. Unless you want to raise Leo all by herself, I suggest you go the the family screen and start the next generation. Doing that will automatically age Leo to 20-something and she can inherit the house and marry and start her own family.

Well, she's doing okay, but maybe you're right about starting the next gen.
I'll try to take care of Leo, for the meantime. I'd personally like to see her childhood until at least age 14. Then I'll let her go(maybe!).

Oh what a sad thing to say! Poor little Leo!

But let's not lose hope - if Leo turns out to be like that boy from the 6th sense movie and she can "see dead people", maybe she'll find her daddy. wink

Yeah. I paused her game last night, and it appears as though she's doing fine. Unfourtunately, 4 kids from another game were also abandoned. Vulcan(adopted), age 12, Candy, age 9, Art, age 8, and Hope(named for the top need of their sit.),age 5. They're all very sweet, and at least they're together!
I never thought I'd get attatched to these little pixles, but somehow, I did.

Are the parents dying young or just having kids late in life? Most of my kids are in their teens or already in college when their parent pass on.

Most of my kids are in college too.

What I usually do is to make them have a baby on her 40s. This way there one of the children can stay there and take care of stuff - as the old ones get real slow, it can take forever to prepare a meal, for example. So I let the kid do that. smile

Mid life. Both sets. I started new gen. Leo inherited(duh), but I picked Hope for the 2nd house.
