Talking about obsessed children, here is my example:

This is Fabola, and she always had this craving for playing in the dirt. I kept punishing her with the hand, salty candies and nothing worked. When she was 14 I thought this problem had come to an end. She was doing adult stuff and did not have that child's voice anymore.

Then all of a sudden, she started squeaking and rolling in the dirt! *laughs*

Old habits die hard, they say... *laughs*

I have a whole family that is obsessed with grooming. They're always in the bathroom brushing hair and teeth, drying their hair and feet and taking a shower! I know that cleanliness is good for you, but sheesh! Give it a break!
