Please join me in the mourning of almost ALL of my fishies! I thought it was an April Fools (albeit late) joke this morning when I logged on to my fishies....sad days for fish indeed. I had a power problem with my computer this weekend and was unable to log on since friday morning... much to my dismay, I am left with 5-8 fish per game. 5 games....3 tanks each....in various stages of play (and now decay)
I was trully saddened by this natural disaster and am now in the process of clean up, breed up and chin up!
This sort of disaster is so unexpected and horrific it has ruined me... I shall never be the same...No fishie deserves this... no one! I will be holding a celebration of their lives this morning at 9AMPacific, please join me in remembering my friends.

May your little fishes swim happily forever in the Great Fish Tank in Heaven! How sad to lose so many ... and so much work!!!!

We, too, have had many power outages this weekend, but fortunately all of them were short lived and did not do any damage.

Hang in there ... as new little fishes hatch ang grow, happiness will again brighten your fishie world.

If power outages happen again unexpectedly, a temporary fix is to set the date on your computer back to the date of the power outage BEFORE opening fish tycoon. Then Open the program, select stop time for all games, and then reset the calendar to today's date. This is best done with no other programs running, because messing with the date can mess with some programs if they are time sensative.

Thank you for all your heartfelt comments about my disaster. I still can see their shiney little faces in my memory. Thanks for that great tip, hex...sounds like a good one if it happens again.
I am happy to say that I am working hard on repopulation of my tanks and the new fishies are happy in their own right and don't even know of the disaster that came before them.
Power to the Fishies!
hugzzz all around,
hell
