Whenever I try to breed, my baby fishes health always goes down, and they die. What do I do?

I have been breeding a few different fishes some die off but yesterday I noticed that if I had sickly then dead fish in the tank the health bar was showing as brown , I put dead ones in garbage can but if I thought an undeveloped baby was sickly I also put into the G'can,I was breeding at different times Golden Spotanus/Orange spotanus and all 11 died aprox. at 13 weeks. so it must be some breeds are just to weak to breed together (more research needed)charlee

You need to work on researching the environment. If you are at a level one most of the hybrids don't stand a chance. Find a good seller in your tanks and mass-produce to get $ for research.

you mentioned breeding golden spotanus with orange spotanus. The orange one is something from the common eggs, but the golden spotanus only comes from breeding or rare eggs. I have found that whenever I breed two species from common eggs at low environment levels, I get offspring that last a long while. however, breeding a common fish with an offspring of common fish will always produce something that will not survive. I've built another spreadsheet that shows this pattern, but for Arthur and the gang's sake, will not post it until they say it's ok. (probably when FT2 comes out)

Trach any fish that is causing a problem or too cheap
to keep trach it,sick trach it,low health trash it.before
it dies better to trash it than mess up the other good
fish in your tank.
once you get all the environment levels over they never die
im way past that point.
