I got triplets the other day after giving both my parents a baby booster shot and a third one to the mom again!
Don't know if this was a faux pas, but I finally got triplets, no twins as yet though and I am on a many generation game as well DID I HEAR SOMETHING ABOUT RARE BUGS?

In my very first family (seventh generation now) there is not so much as a twin, much less a triplet. In the second family that I started, the first birth was triplets, then a singleton, then twins.

Thanks for the idea. I gave up on the baby booster early because it was so expensive and the forum posts had suggested it didn't increase the chance of multiples; just the chance of any birth.

Now that 2 of my families have all the upgrades and nothing to spend the money on but groceries and clothes, I think I'll give it a try again.

I've had absolutely no luck with triplets either. I got twins twice though.
Isn't there a warning for repeated applications of the baby boost shot? I mean if repeated applications have worked for people I'll definitely give it a shot!
No pun intended.

The only warning is that the repeated baby boosts won't "help" as much as the original baby boost does.

I had twins on my 1st and 6th generations (I'm on my 8th now), but NOOOO TRIPLETS!!!

I guess getting triplets is a lucky thing, nothing to do with baby boosts. What we have to do is keep crossing fingers every time they kiss for the triplets to come! (at least this is what I do all the time!) *laughs*

Oh, and btw, WHERE ARE THOSE INSECTS ???????????? I'm still waiting for 2 rare bugs - but they are probably not rare: they are extinct!!!! *laughs*

I got my 1st set of twins in my 2nd generation. I'm in my 6th now and still no triplets.

Baby boost isn't supposed to help increase the odds of a multiple birth, but now that I'm on 5th, 6th and one that's a 7th gen family and I have more money than I know what to do with I use it all the time. I know I've given two and three shots to some of my peeps, but have only gotten single births 99.9% of the time. One time I got twins though.

At the beginning, when I couldn't afford the shot, one of my Mom's gave birth to triplets with the first pregnancy. Then when they were 3 years old (all red headed girls -- all identical) I opened my game to an adoption and it was a 3 year old boy. So I had 4 three year older's running around in that family. When they were all five years old, I had them try again and she gave birth to --- twin boys!!! Six kids and only two pregnancies!

I spent the day weeding my flower beds and I think I know what happened to the bugs. They all crawled out of my computer and onto my lawn! Seriously though, I would love to hire my family's pest control guy.

I do believe that triplets are a total luck thing. My daughter has a family that seems to have nothing but twins and triplets, 7 generations and 3 sets of triplets and 2 sets of twins. Her second family has no multiples at all in the 5th generation.

That's not fair! I want triplets too!!! *laughs*

About the bugs, I'm always getting the bottled rain and looking for these 2 rare bugs with no results till now. Just got ladybirds, centipedes, crickets - always the same ones.

I feel your pain. Still waiting on triplets for the first family I ever started. Finally had twins, and I hope I don't have to wait another 7 generations for the triplets.

As for the bugs, I buy the bottle of rain every time it is in the store. I am now running 3 families, two started after the .05 update, and one before. The rain brings nothing but coins in the first family. In the other two, I constantly get the millipede and the cricket. About every 3-4 bottles I get a new bug or nut/twig. Ah, well, at least with the rain bottle I can choose when I spend my time hunting collectibles.

I have 5 families going.

My first family had a set of triplets then a set of twins the first generation. Havent had triplets or twins in 10 generations for that family.

My second family had a set of twins in the 3rd generation and now im on the 8th generation.. still no triplets

My third family just had the first set of triplets in 9 generations and major shock to me 2 yrs later a second set of triplets and all six kids look like little nerds with horn rimmed glasses and brown hair.. miss only pocket protector

My fourth and fifth have had twins and triplets like every other gen or so. and right now they both are on their 10th generation.

My only problem right now is Still need Bugs and Its sooo Hard when the families are broke.. arggggg I want the 3rd level of upgrades so my families can finish the master level ones..

I've got the dragonfly in the generation with triplets, but only the other common bugs.

Someone said that their goal is 100 generations. Maybe by that time, I'll get twins and ALL of the bugs...maybe??

YEA HOORAY I just had my first set of triplets in my 6th gen and strangly she had a serious infection when I got a doctors consulton and so Lilila earned me two trophies. I had to take the screen shots of her Sleeping in the children's beds after I give her the penicellian.

I have 5 families, all in the 5th or 6th generation. All of them have had twins, but only one has had triplets. I tried different doses of the Baby Boost on each couple and it only really seemed to increase the probability of having a baby on each try, not the probability of having multiples. I think the twins and triplets are truly random events.
