Seems to me, that some actions are included after many generations have been played.
Recently, for the first time, I have had one of my peeps "Stomping Ants" and Watering the flowers in the pots by the sidewalk.
These two actions have never appeared for me before.
Or is it just me?

I haven't had any of my families spontaneously water plants, but the stomping ants was done by one of my first generation family members. That same person seemed to be obsessed with destroying insects. His most frequent random actions seemed to be "Stomping Ants" "Finding Annoying Mosquito" and "Taking Insect Outside" He was also the only person I ever saw "Inspecting the Foundation" so he might have been a bit paranoid. laugh

I have found that if a person decides on their own to water plants, they usually water either the roses or the potted plants, rather than the flower boxes. In this case, they get the watering can from a random location, usually inside the house or workshop, like under the table or bed, in the laundry room. It is only when I take them to the shed to get the watering can and direct them to water plants that they water the ones in the flower boxes.

"Stomping ants" appeared quite early on in my games, too, but has reappeared only rarely. It's the same with when they decide to water the plants on their own. Obviously, you've got to solve the relevant puzzles before they can do that, though. I think some actions are just chosen infrequently so you need to be lucky to spot them taking place. The most recent "new" action I've seen is "Sorting mail", which I first noticed a couple of days ago. At the end of that action the peep puts a letter in the shredder. Since the shredder only appears in a L3 office, I assume the action only appears once one in bought.

There is also a "shredding documents" action that appears once you have the shredder.

I had one of my mothers spend her entire life shredding. I never praised her for it, and even eventually used the red glove to try to stop her shredding and make her work, but she was determined. She was a lobbyist.

I've got a different one - "vacuuming the living room"

And just once my "mom" peep went to the kitchen table and started "writing memoirs".

Oh I wish they were running around my house too! *laughs*

They are always dusting the furniture, cleaning the nightstand, the oven, the fridge... Thinking about it, they work quite a lot! Probably they will have to take a "virtual vacation" really soon! wink

One of Piccolos "likes" is flowers, so he's always watering them - and spontaneously!

Here is he watering the vases by the fountain.

I just had a new one today. One of my little girls was "catching caterpillars" I told her to leave them alone. They need to become butterflies so I can finish my collection.

Or maybe she can catch them, save them someplace till they become butterflies! Then you just get them to finish the collection. wink

One of my peeps did that once, but that never happened again.

Yeah, but she is two. Do you remember that kid's song

"I'm bringing home a baby bumblebee. Won't my mommy be so proud of me?"

I really don't want to see an action line "Licking off caterpillar" laugh

I have absolutely NO idea! *laughs*

She was coming back from the garden, I selected her to see how old she was and at that exact moment her age turned from 59 to 60. When the 60 appeared, she instantaneously started writing memoirs. I think it comes with the age.

I only had another peep (a female also) to do it once. I used the green hand, of course, to see if they do it again. smile

*Moonlyght*,

I'm curious. What's that in the garden? It's too dark to see clearly, but looks rather like a witches' cauldron. confused

I just got a new action - I'm on my 22nd generation and it's the first time I had someone to "inspect the foundation".

omg! Is the house collapsing after all this time and these mods? *lol*
