I'll take this into PM with jf3000 for the moment.

It is pretty easy to do this cheat. My guess is he simply changed the hex file (offset line 3a0) to put in the amount of money he wanted to start with. By doing this it will not change any stats, since they are saved in other areas of the hex file. Well other then your money spent will exceed your money earned.

You only need to take a look at this cheaters website to see what sort of person he is..........Die little fish.

The difference is his money earned is correct. What he did was mod the hex file to add his mill's. By doing this it did not change his counter value for money earned/ money spent. Does that make sense? The only counter which would be out of wack is how the money spent is larger then money earned. This would be the clear indication that the person has preformed some kind of cheat.

ok i am new to this forum and new to fish tycoon as well, i have been playing for about a month. I dont understand this cheat. How in the world did you get THAT much money?

There are detailed instructions on how to do it on the web, and this is not the place to instruct how to do it. But what you have to do is edit the Hex savegame file. What he did, or someone else did and passed the file to him, was edit a certain line in the hex file, which that has the value of the amount of money you have on hand. If you are not familiar with hex files, then it is not too easy to do. If you are family with Hex values, it is just a matter of following the code and determining what blocks hold what value. I don’t mess with Hex just to cheat, but more of a personal change to see what I can do with the code. Just another way to “play” the game.
