I'm new to the forum. I just started playing virtual families. I have two families now. My first family is good everything seems to be going well there. My little people had twins on the first try and they both are advancing in there careers. My second family is not doing so well. I can't get them to have kids even though they want kids they are never in the mood. I also can't get one of my little people in a better mood. I was able to get her from depressed to feeling a little blue but I can't get her from feeling blue. I have upgraded things in the house, bought food, clean the house and picked up all the weeds she is still feeling the same way. I figured that is the reason why they won't have kids b/c she is feeling blue. But both of them want kids though. If you could help me out please let me know.

Is it just that they start arguing when you put them together? If so, keep try again immediately, over and over again if necessary. Eventually they'll kiss and make up. Only if they say "No!" is it too soon to have try to have kids.

If they are trying but failing to have kids it might be worth trying a doctor's consultation; one or both might need some Baby Boost.

To help increase her mood, first check out her likes and dislikes. They may provide you with some helpful information. If she "Definitely" wants children and doesn't have any yet. that is probably what is wrong with her happiness level. As Arnie suggested, she or the hubby may need baby boost. But you may also need to boost her happiness for a successful attempt at a baby as well.

Next try candy. Give her some candy instead of the green glove when she is doing something you want to praise for. You may have to wait for it to be available in the store. Other store items can make them a bit happier as well, but candy is the biggest boost. If candy isn't available, try sunscreen, movies, even perfume and weather bottles (especially the sun.) It's better to save fruits for in case someone gets sick and you need to boost their health, but if all else fails, you can give her those as well. Some little people just get happier when you buy stuff and give it to them.

Give her a piece of candy or fruit. That'll improve her mood.

You could also try just praising her with the green hand when she does something
