Hi I have my first family I started (7th gen) 190k in the bank, all workrooms upgrade plus all house upgrades and they only had 2 kids this time and I can not get them to progress their careers. For the past 2 day I've really kept an eye on them and they just do not want to work??? is it because of the money in the bank ? I've tried to spend it but not much to spend on now - buying all organic food seems to be the only way to send other than treats any new clothes- I did see a post where someone said something about upgrading the couch ??? Thanks for any help!
sometimes u just get lazy peeps that dont want to work! just praise them and give them candy when u see them working. money is not the issue in one of my families they have over 600 thousand. and they work just as hard as when i had no money. then i have other families that r lazy. just like in RL, u get all kinds!

I've had a couple of peeps like this and as much as I hate to do it, I give them the "red glove" if they start to do something besides working, eating, cooking and sleeping.

Rupee one of my peeps just got to be Workshop warrior just before she died at the age of 63 or 64ish. Her hubby Omicron only got to no 7 exceptional and he died at the age of 65 so Rupee was a widow living with her son Tiny. Now Tiny is age 15 and alone. In my first game in the 5th genaration both my peeps mastered their careers before they were age 50. This is a first too.
