this is definitely a cheat, but it will work for those of you who are still frustrated over waiting for this trophy (like i was).

i made a copy of the .ldw files for all of my families and put them in a folder i named "Backup." i started the game and read the proposal email that was waiting for me in one of my families. it wasn't for the career i needed, so i switched to a different family and copied the backup .ldw file for the proposal family back into the original folder. then i switched back to my proposal family and there was a new proposal email waiting for me. i kept repeating this process until i finally got the career i needed!

it may take several tries, but it does eventually work!

its easier to press ctrl-alt-del and end the game...

Ohhhh no... pressing ctrl+at+del got me stuck with a marriage I didn't want. I thought it would be the same as when I do it for new jobs but I did it, came back in and there is this little guy running around in the house *sigh*, was my genetic experiment family too, had to start all over again.

well excuse me, but this is easier than having to restart the game and waiting for it to reload, at least for me.

Far be it from me to interfere with anything, but I'm actually enjoying playing the game as it SHOULD be played and biding my time. Maybe I will get that trophy in time, maybe I won't.
