My VF won't save! Does anyone know what's wrong? Could it be memory, or something else? Has anyone else had this problem? Thank you for any help.

There could be several reasons for that problem, and the most common ones are contained in this answer in our Support FAQ.

Edit: I pulled up a search, but it couldn't find the files . Should I just restart to see what happens?

If you're running Windows Vista, you should go look in the proper location first, to make sure that there are no files there. You can see where they should be by looking here. Vista doesn't always display all files that meet the search criteria.

They weren't there, do you think I should restart VF, or uninstall it then reinstall it?

I would use Start Over on the menu first. If that didn't fix it, I'd uninstall and reinstall the game, making sure that (if you're using Vista) that it's installed from an administrator account.
