There isn't anything in the Support FAQ about games "killing" the computer (or each other). My earlier reference to the Support FAQ was to procedures for recovering lost games, which is what you said you wanted.

Anything "bad" that happened on your computer was the result of the driver issue and the resulting Windows crash and whatever repair actions were taken, not because of anything that our game did. Our games simply don't have the ability to destroy a computer.
