I would like to know what to do if you are going out of town for 3or4 days .should you pause it or what to keep them from all dying out on you.any suggestions will be appreciated.Thanks!

I'd say yes, pause it. You could load up the fridge with a lot of groceries and hope they don't get sick on you, but you'd have missed half their lives.

The best way to pause the game is to press the spacebar. You'll see the message "GAME PAUSED" appear. If you are playing more than one game make sure you pause them all individually; they can't all be paused at once.
