This has happened once before. But i waited a couple of minuets and it was fine. But this time it has been about an hour and VF still won't open. I either get this pop up, error, access violation, 0x004eazfo,tried to read from 0x0000000004, program terminates. Or i get 2 pop ups in a row when i click, This display card does not support 800x600x16bpp, then when i click ok, i get another pop up that says, could not open display, error code 0xc8660110. Any ideas ?? Like i said it has happend once before, but never this long. I haven't changed anyhting on my computer. Oh, i normally do run it in the windowed mode, yesterday i switched to full screen. I did look at the trouble shooting section. They only had options for FT

There isn't a warning about that, because most computers can play our games just fine in either full-screen or windowed mode. However, there are some display settings that allow the games to be run only in one of the two modes (full-screen or windowed mode). The issue can usually be resolved quickly by changing the computer's display settings, but sometimes (particularly on older computers) the computer does not support the required settings to be able to run in both modes.
