If you disable that video driver, your video card will no longer work properly, and you would likely not be able to play the games. Every hardware device from audio and video adapters to printers and scanners needs a driver so that Windows knows how to "talk" to it.

Have you tried seeing what DXDiag says when you run those tests? I didn't see everything that everyone suggested to you before.
