Sorry about the misspelling of your name Sweetie!

I'm not meaning to be obstinate, but I have to differ with you on the update thing though, as I had no problem making babies before .05 and then again after going back to .04. My sister is playing the game and also had problems getting babies after the .05 update. I advised her to go back to .04, and she is now a happy player.

It's not a problem smile And there's nothing bad about agreeing to disagree. As long as it works for you, it's all good. laugh

To anyone thinking about "downgrading" to an earlier version, however, be warned that it could have unintended consequences that have not been seen before, and is not generally recommended.

I've noticed I'm not having as many multiple births also and I just figured it was luck of the draw. But I have noticed now that the baby can be 4 or sometimes 5 years old when I try to have another and it will say "it's too soon to try to have a baby". I use to only get that when the youngest was 2 or 3. So my last few generations have consisted of just one or two kids.

I have to agree with Pam and Lewanda.

After I upgrade to .05 version I noticed I started having problems having babies. Another thing I noticed was that later (on .04) when the baby was 2, 3 at the most, the parents could start having babies again. After I uploaded to .05 the time for them to start trying depends on the time I turn on the game after the birth - explaining:

Chloe got pregnant last night. I fed them, took care of the house and went to bed. When I came back today, the baby (Piccolo) was already 4 and they were saying it was too soon to have a baby. So I left the game and only when he was 5 (!) they agreed to try for a baby again (with no success until now).

Before Piccolo, they had Lolla - I was playing when she was "released" (*laughs*) from her mother's lap. As I was playing when it happened, they started trying again when she was still 2, almost 3 years old.

I think that if I stay a whole day off and turn on the computer with a 7 year-old last child, they will only try again when the child is 8!

I haven't noticed either a problem having babies or a lack of multiples.

The only oddness I've noticed is that if the game is paused immediately after a baby is released, and then the game is left off for a few hours, when you unpause you can immediately try for a baby again. Whereas, if you tried to have another baby immediately, they will say it's too soon. So pausing and leaving it off seems to bypass the "too soon" thing, which I'm sure wasn't intentional. I had several couples who are "No Way" or "Not Really" all have a new baby when their youngest was still 2 using this method. It doesn't work 100% and they obviously don't always have a baby when they try for one, but most of the time they'll at least try.
