3.HOW MANY GENERATIONS DOES IT TAKE TO GET TO LEVEL 3 IF THE ONLY THING YOU BUY IS FOOD?
4.HOW DO YOU GET THEM TO DO KUNG FU OR MAKE A LATTE?
5.HOW DO YOU GET THEM TO THROW OUT FISH?

Many of us still haven't completed the collection. Your best bet there is to have patience.

The Red Ball is an Easter Egg, and best enjoyed if you find it on your own, however, there are many hints in this thread on how to find it.

There is no set time limit on how long it takes to do anything, because so many people play in so many different ways, it can't be timed.

Your last question is a simple one. Keep them happy and healthy and they will live a long time.

I do the collecting but don't get hung up on it. I just try to enjoy raising my little peep families. The collections will fill up in time. I've sold mine several times now.

The red ball's not important to the game Easter Egg location removed by Admin.

Saving their money so that it gains interest is the quickest way to get to level three. However you should at least buy the upgrades to your peeps work area, because they advance much faster in their career's with the upgrades. This is much easily done if you choose a mate for your peep that works in the same work areaas he/she does.

4.HOW DO YOU GET THEM TO DO KUNG FU OR MAKE A LATTE?
These things are self initiated by the peeps. You just have to watch for them.

Getting one to live to 70 is pure luck. The oldest mine has ever lived is 68, and I buy all organic foods, keep them well with the proper meds and medical checkup's, buy the things that prolong their lives in the first generations: (The bathroom upgrade; treadmill; air purifier) It's also important to make sure they're not overworked. Try to find a balance in how much they work and how much rest, recreation, and exercise they get. Other things that keep them healthier is in keeping the house clean; Giving them plenty of fruit and vitamins; Making sure sicknesses are taken care of as soon as possible.

This is a game about families. There is no set time for things to get done. Relax and enjoy it. The events and collectables will come when they come. If you keep up the "hurry up" attitude, you lose half the pleasure of the game.

Did you really play for 5 generations without coming here for help? You did great! Now relax, read the posts and enjoy your fams.

I came here like 2 days after buying it but it kept telling me I wasnt registered (even though I was) and I went up to my 8th gen before having to start over because my chick got so depressed because she got no emails.. and no adopties that she died at the lonely age of 43 and had no gens after her.. was soo mad was yelling at screen about having to start all over again from the start... Now I have like 4 different families going or is it 5 I dont know.. but 1. 6th gen, 2. 3 or 4th gen, 3 2 gen, 4. 1st gen..

I dont have the patience gene.. I want to be able to have them master a skill like in Sims 2 with only 10 minutes of reading and have lots of kids and not have to wait 4 "years" each time to do it.. AND MOST IMPORTANT I WANT THEM TO SLEEP THROUGH THE NIGHT OR MAYBE FOR MORE THEN 2 MINUTES AT A TIME... GO TO BED.. HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU TO GO TO BED BEFORE YOU STAY IN BED .... GRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Angela, what version of the game do you have?

From my understanding, which is very little, the earlier versions you had very little chance of getting them to go to bed. With the later version (.5) you have to tuck them in bed then quit the game for them to be well rested. Put them to bed when you go to bed, quit the game and go back to them the next morning. Encourage them to nap during the day. Also if they're exhausted for prolonged periods it may be best to get a doctors check on them to make sure there's nothing seriously wrong with them.

VF is they type of game that's meant to be played on a casual basis, as are the other LDW games, so far as I know.

Patience Grasshopper.

If you want them to sleep:

1. Make sure it is night time

2. Make sure they are exhausted

3. Put them to bed

4. Shut the game down for about 8 hours. A perfect time would be when you are going to bed for the night.

5. DO NOT RESTART THE GAME. LEAVE THE GAME ALONE. CONSTANTLY CHECKING IN ON YOUR FAMILY WILL ONLY DISRUPT THEIR SLEEP CYCLE.

6. After at least 8 hours, pay your family a visit. Play with them. Watch them do their chores and other activities.
