mad I have a 8 year old who has had the status weak for quite some time & I don't know what to do to get his health back up. I have fed him & his status bar is all the way to the right. Gave him chamomile drink & put him to bed. In fact every time I can get him to take a nap I do. He is still weak. There are no vitamins or fruits offered in the store yet. I also strongly agree the items in the store should replenish more frequently.
My other problem is fixing the bird bath. I tried to place the pump on top of it but it fell to the ground & will not let me pick it back up. When I put my adult on it I get the message it is too heavy, I even tried the entire family, but still it sits on the ground. I don't mind saying I am about ready to pull my hair out! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

In response to the weak child, you're going to have to hope that some fruit comes in the store shortly.

The bird bath

Click to reveal..
Place two members of your family directly on the pump at the same time

I don't know if that actually qualifies as a spoiler but I'm listing it as one anyway.

Have you done a physician's consult to make sure there was no underlying infection? If not, I would recommend doing that and giving the recommended antibiotic. You will still need the fruits and vitamins to raise health quickly (when/if they come into the store,) but once the infection is cleared up, with rest and food, the health bar will fill up over time even without them.

About the birdbath:
Click to reveal..
I think it takes two people age 14 or greater to lift and install the pump. The leaky hose near the kitchen door must be repaired first.

Thanks to all of you who replied about my problem. I had not fixed the hose 1st so that might have been 1 of the contributing problems. I kept waiting for the tape, of course I got everything else.
I guess I won't have to worry. I backed up all of my game slots like recommended but now can't retrieve any of the games, it keeps starting with a new game. I guess it might take some more practice. It is a little upseting to get to my adults having their family of 3 & then the game is gone. laugh

I've had the same problem with the weak child! I've got one girl who's sick all the time, and she's never been anything but "weak" since! I hope she doesn't die or something... Maybe I'll try the doctor consultation.

Just accidentally found this was not true.

I dropped the tape to fix the hose, but never got around to actually fixing it, and forgot about it. Just repaired the birdbath, went to water the flowers and realized that the hose was not fixed.

So all that is needed is
Click to reveal..
for the tape to be placed by the hose? I've never had that happen, but I don't think I've ever placed the tape without fixing the hose fairly quickly.

Interesting.

Knk is right smile

Click to reveal..
I've fixed the birdbath before the hose in many of my newer families. I usually see the pump *well* before the tape ever stocks smile

Normally I do fix it immediately, however this time I needed room in my tool tray and
Click to reveal..
my gal was not yet married, so I didn't have the second person to fix the hose.

So there it sat, forgotten and unused. grin

Pull the person out of the shower and leave it running?
I would never have thought of that before. smile

That's the way I do it.

Also with the birdbath, I had a 9 year old help the father install it, the mother was nursing triplets at the time. It worked.

knk, that is hilarious! I have screenies of a mom nursing triplets helping to install the pump because I thought it was funny she could do it with all three babies in her arms. But I would never have thought to try it with the tiny ones after getting the message it was too heavy for one. Too funny!

Yes, it's amazing that

two little 2-year-olds can lift something that's too heavy for one grown man. smile

After I made the mistake with the hose repair of getting stuck in one solution for that problem, I have been trying different solutions for everything. I also originally thought
Click to reveal..
it took two adults to fix the fountain since, as Arnie said, it is too heavy for a grown man alone. But since I have been reminded to challenge my assumptions, I have been doing so. I do think it is funny that the twins could repair the fountain, but not the wall or floor, even though the fountain would probably be most likely to result in serious injury crazy

Maybe the children are small enough to fit through the cracks and get stuck! or they'd try to consume the wall repair mix eek
