I choose Marco to take over the house when the parents died and as soon as I did that I got event and he adopted a child renamed to Betty as I did not like the name Bitbutt I can't remember the excite name it was something like that. The pic shows them together and the second pic is after Betty had read the email proposel of marrage, She is celebrating the marrage with her new mom.

Edit. I will get a better screen shot of her mom later as I cut her head off of the pic.

That happened to me. The woman never got married. There just weren't any guys that were right for her.

there IS a name like BitButt, along with a few other off the wall names. I actually had something like it and I changed it too. Maybe it is a typo in the game itself or someone snuck it in... lol

Has anyone as yet had a full single parent generation? It's beginning to look like it might end up like that for my Trishola and her adopted son.

That could be cool. But yet if the son ends up not wanting kids,though he'll get at least one, you probably won't be able to hit six kids.

I had in my third genaration parents only having one child just check family...

Teasea is 55 and Gregu is 53 and only had one child name Frella and she left them at the age of 5 or 6 I kept making them try for a baby and when they tried but each time no baby

Here are now too old to have another child and the last pic is there last chanch to have a baby but it never happened

I was tempted to try it, as I also just had an instance where the kid must have waiting on the doorstep when the girl moved back in. But I thought it would be too boring with only 2 people in the house, not to mention only one income-earner. It was really cute though, to watch the little girl celebrate the marriage with the parents.

That generation I mentioned ended up with Trishola getting married around 50, I think. Just because I thought she'd be lonely.

Single Parents are possible. Purple adopted Mysti upon arriving at the house. I was trying for the Perfect Match trophy, but she passed before he showed up.

In one of my early generations I had a single mother. A child appeared asking for adoption as soon as she entered the house, so I felt I could be a little more choosy than usual with potential husbands for her, and turned down two or three proposals. The same event happened later on, so she became a single parent twice. When the youngest child was about 18 I realised she'd be all alone in the house when he went off to college, and therefore accepted the next proposal a short time later. I can't remember her age at the time but it must have been around 50. They didn't have any more children, but at least she wasn't alone in her later years.

For a time I also had a male single parent; again, the 'soft knock' came as he was entering the house so I felt able to turn down the first proposal received, from someone who definitely didn't want children and was in a fairly poor job, if I recall correctly. The next proposal was from someone a lot more suitable, and they went on to have a further five children.

Same thing happened to me, arnie. She has 2 daughter and live alone there.

As I'm trying for the perfect match trophy I'm not marrying her to "anybody" *lol*

But even if she dies alone (oh how sad!) I was worried if I could pass the house on to one of her daughters and continue the game.

Probably I'll marry her when she gets older - even if it's not mr. right. That way she'll have someone.
