Does anyone know how to install the lightbulb in the hallway?

i read in the guide, that you can brighten up... so I'm still trying to figure out how that lightbulb gets installed in the hallway...since it's the only light OUT in the house

I just read through the guide and I think "brightening up the house" means upgrades...but maybe no?

I noticed the same think myself.
I think there's no way to make them do it; the only solution I can think of would be if one of the peeps "decides" to do it by himself.
I agree is kinda strange that dark stairway.

Are you referring to the light bulb laying on the shelf in the laundry room? I was waiting for one of my people to take it and install it too, but so far they haven't. Would have been a nice activity for another trophy (similar to the brushing hair or turning off TV ones). When I was new to the game, before I figured out that that item was a light bulb, I thought it was the door knob for the garage, until I found that in another location. I tried and tried to get the people to pick up the "knob" in the laundry room to take and put on the garage door, lol.

That's what that is! I've been dropping family members on it hoping one of them would do something with it! I was actually just getting ready to post a question to see if anyone else had noticed it and if they had any ideas!
