Developer,

Hi, this is Daria. Thank you for making this game. I just downloaded it today and, as always, I feel so excited to begin a new journey. I noticed the LDW logo on the computer screen when my virtual family member was working, and just wanted to pop in and say keep up the good work!

Daria

I am most appreciative too! You are a very intelligent person (Arthur) to have been able to do all that was done to put this game together. I haven't played VV yet. I'm afraid to. I may become addicted to it like I have with VF!

How nice of both of you to give a big kuddos to the great people at LDW. Yes, they have us hooked on all their games and impatiently wait for the next one.

Namesdi, you have to try out the VV series soon because LDW is working on the 4th installment. VV 1: A New Home was my very first LDW purchase which led me to the forums. I was extremely impressed with the feel of family here and the company's willingness to listen to the fans of their games. After the release of VV 1, the boards were overflowing with requests for a new game and ideas of what types of things the players would like. Arthur, Carla and Barbara listened and did incorporate many of the suggestions in VV2: The Lost Children and in VV 3: The Secret City. All three of the games are similar but very very different. My suggestion would be to start with the first one and work your way up.

BTW, welcome to the forums DariaMcBee and namesdi.

Thanks for the welcome, Margi!

I should have included Barbara and Carla when I was giving Kuddos but I'm so new that I didn't realize there were more than one. I saw something that told me Arthur was the developer of the game.

I've read enough messages that I can see the board is run in an excellent manner- with respect for others and a family feel to it. So, I appreciate that a lot. I am a moderator on a Days of our Lives board and that's how we run it. I want no part of forums who allow arguing.

So, thank you Carla, Barbara and Arthur! You're doing a fantastic job here!

Oh, and I will try the VV games for sure! Thanks for the info on it.

Quickstorm,

Thanks for the warm welcome. I have been a member here since VV1 - I just kind of lurk on the forums now, searching for clues and not talking too much. I'm hoping I can play this VF game without cheating like I did in the previous VV games.

Namesdi, you are in for a treat when you begin playing the Virtual Villagers trilogy. You're right - you'll be addicted to these games, too. Hee. (I love your siggy.)

Happy day!

Daria

I don't often buy games online, but I HAVE bought all of LDW's. I love that they are family friendly. My son has his own VF family going, as well as a fish tank in fish tycoon, and a plant shop in plant tycoon. We often have to schedule our times to play so we're not trying to bump each other. I love when he checks up on VF through the day and gives me little updates on how they're all doing.

So, yes, thanks to the WHOLE team at LDW who have made these games for us. I love them!
