Hi, I did a search in the forum and found some similar threads, but not about the exact same problems.

Two people have reported to me that some of their peeps went missing. One had triplets disappear from the game, for the other it was the husband.

I thought they were pulling my leg! Is this a known bug? Anything they could do? That would be one unfortunate bug.

i had a little girl go into the closet 'hiding' and she didnt come back. However when it was time to pass the house to a child she was in there. Do you know if the peeps that went missing are still in the details screen? Also if they are not in the details screen are they in the Family screen? If they are in the details screen, scroll to that person, and then click the done button. after that don't click anything else and if they are there the game will show you where they are at and maybe you can pull them out of wherever they are hiding.. Hope this helps.

Yeah, I had a boy disappear. He was gone for days. Then he came back after the oldest went to college.

Stonzee, you are lucky that they came back after being gone that long. Usually if someone/something is missing after 1 day you might as well just write it off as a loss. Arthur really does need to fix this bug that causes our little peeps to disappear. It's really upsetting.

I would love to see this. I have never had one disappear; they have hid in the closet but never left completely and I'm on my fifth generation.

I thought mine had done one earlier. I couldn't drag the kid out of the closet. Thought for sure he was gone.

And the really strange part was, the game was paused when the oldest left and the other one came back. I had the paused game message on.

The funny thing is that the husband actually disappeared along with his marriage trophy!

Now I am investigating the disappearance of a green glove... Don't remember reading about that before.

cjlouve, what version do you have? look at the bottom left corner on your menu screen it will say 1.00.0(1-5) .05 is the latest version. the disappearing glove was supposed to be fixed in the earlier versions.

That is soooooo coool! It is like something like "narnia". Girl goes in closet and lives there for years and comes back child again.

I had an adopted girl disappear when she was 17..

I just had a strange thing happen. I had just handed the house over to a female child and she was looking around when a proposal came through. I am trying to get same career trophy so I hit Alt-F4 rather than Reject. When I restarted the game, the unwanted suitor is there as her husband. The strange thing is he does not appear in the Family Tree. They have had 2 kids so far and it looks like she is a single mom on the family screen. Anyone else had this? Will he ever show up in the family tree?

Yes, that can happen if the game crashes (which is what, in essence, happens when you use Alt-F4). This thread details a very similar situation.
