I have a hubby and wife that both have kitchen careers; i was wondering if they can both work on thier careers at the same time in the kitchen? thank you

Yep, they can ... I have a pasta maker and a cake designer in the same house, and they've both worked at the same time. It can look kinda funny, but they don't notice one another at all.

i don't like to have 2 with kitchen careers, they're less likely to prepare a meal.

never thought of that dmbson..will have to check on them at meal time and have them fix the meal than i guess.thank you

it's not that they won't eat, but when you put a non kitchen career person in front of the stove, they will generally prepare a meal. the kitchen career ones will "work on career". none of em have starved yet though, so it's probably not that important.

dmbson, they'll always prepare a meal if you drop them on the breakfast bar (table).

In one of my families that I was playing earlier today, not one of the 5 members would prepare a meal. I would drop them at the table and they said "NO!"

Then I checked the refrigerator and they only had about 20 of food. So I bought them groceries and, once they had been put away, I had no problem getting one of them to prepare a meal.

Also, once I have meal on the table and everyone is eating, then as they leave the table I check their food bar. If it is not full, I put them back for a second meal. That way they don't have to fix meals as often.

I find it helpful to have both spouses working in the same room, especially for first gens. It makes it a lot easier to decide which workroom to upgrade first.
