how do i make them "die" or send them off to college? and no, what i mean is, a man having two wives or a woman having two husbands. another question, if a family has two kids and their parents die, do the children have to marry another to have kids or can sibling have children?

The game is designed so that the children go off to college sometime in their 19th year, with one of them being chosen to inherit the house and begin their family when it's time to start a new generation. Once one of the parents dies, you will have the opportunity to choose one of the children to start a new generation in the house. The special message that is presented after the death of a parent (usually from old age) explains the options that are available at that time.

The game provides no method for deliberately harming its inhabitants. Although players have found means to their desired goals, for example, through neglect, we do not allow discussion on these forums that is not appropriate for all ages. Virtual Families, like all of our games, is an E-rated game, and our forums are E-rated, as well. If you're at all curious about how we moderate the forums to maintain an family-friendly environment, you can read our guidelines for Fan Fiction. smile

Couldn't find this on the boards but one of my families totally disappeared. It was a second generation family and when I went to play it was 'deleted'. I didn't delete it so don't know what happened. Anyone else have this problem?

Maybe you accidentally deleted it and didn't realize it?
