The game is designed so that the children go off to college sometime in their 19th year, with one of them being chosen to inherit the house and begin their family when it's time to start a new generation. Once one of the parents dies, you will have the opportunity to choose one of the children to start a new generation in the house. The special message that is presented after the death of a parent (usually from old age) explains the options that are available at that time.

The game provides no method for deliberately harming its inhabitants. Although players have found means to their desired goals, for example, through neglect, we do not allow discussion on these forums that is not appropriate for all ages.
