How can I view the overhead map? I don't see a button for it anywhere, is this a glitch or does this need to be purchased? (Or, more likely, I am just being a ditz.)

Virtual Families does not have an overview map feature, which is why you can't find it.

In the Player Mods thread, there is a screenshot of a brightened overhead map, so I assumed it was avaliable. Thank you.

I imagine that's been made by "stitching" together either a series of screenshots, or the background files from the program's images folder.
