I think there is still a glitch with the praising/scolding gloves in version .05. I have found that after using the praise glove 3 or 4 times, the next time it turns into a scolding glove. I have 5 families running - some since day 1 - and others for less than a week. I see this problem with all families, some more often than others. Just wanted to let you know there is still a problem. Love the game, but had to run 5 families to keep me going!

It's not a glitch Sweetie. If you praise them too many times for the same thing they'll run away from you. After a few praises with the glove for working, etc. try giving them candy or fruit when you want to praise them again. It has a better affect than the glove.

Yes, if you praise them too often for the same thing they'll get annoyed and you'll see a "Stop nagging!" message appear as they run away.

Does the "nagging" response actually count as a "scolding", I wonder? The more times a peep is praised, the more likely they are to carry out that particular action, and the less likely in the case of scolding. In that case, by being too lavish by my praise have I negated the previously successful praising? When possible, I will play safe by starting them on the action (usually their career) and praising them once more.

Yes, if you put them back at their work and use the praise glove again after they've run away from it it will be effective toward praising them again. I try to watch out often I use the glove for the same thing and use fruit or candy instead. They never run from it!
