One of my families seems to be, and stays, exhausted and now they are all "weak" and "a bit weak" or worse.

Is there any way to improve their health/weakness? Eating? Watching TV? They seem to refuse to go to bed and/or rest... not sure why.

I tried looking thru older topics and if this has been answered before now - please point me to the thread...

Please and thank you ahead of time smile

Keeping them fed helps, and some people say that the organic foods seem to help more.

Have you done doctors consultation to make sure there is no underlying illness? My husband got the Gravely Ill trophy today because one of his little guys was extremely weak with plenty of food and rest. He did the consult and found his guy needed Vancomyacin (sp?)

Plus, the fact that you said they refuse to stay in bed tells me that you are putting them to bed then going back into the game "to make sure they are in bed" which doesn't work. Once you put them to bed, you have to exit the game and then don't open it back up for at least 8 hours.

Even going into a different family to play messes this up. You literally have to exit the game and leave it alone for them to stay in bed. frown (I solved that problem by installing the game on a second user account on my computer.)

All the suggestions are great, and I also found, like knksmiles, after the doctors consult my weak peep needed the shot from the store. So if you can afford it, I'd get the doctors consult on the peeps who are very weak. My peep is starting to get less weak now, but it just takes time.

Prrkitty give your peeps that are weak all the fruit you can get from the store. If you can only get one or two fruits give them to the weakest peep. I had one peep that got real sick, and his health bar was way past the half way mark on the weak side. I gave him three fruits that I'd kept in the tooltray for praising and his health bar went up to the almost full mark. The fruit will take their health bar up faster than anything else. The vitamins also help. It's most important to make sure they get three meals a day. Also when they're weak make them get more sleep. I've found all the things above work real well.

Lewanda, out of curiosity, have you ever tried "just" the vitamins? Whenever I've tried just them (cause I didn't have any fruit) it seemed to make no difference.

Oh, but to the person who posted this question -- I agree with everyone here and they are all great ideas, but I also think that you should try to get a doctor's consult as it definitely may be something more serious. I had two that have had that happen and one of them was almost dead before I got the consult. Course, that was within the first 24 hours of getting the game and I was still trying to learn it, but it does seem as though persistent weakness problems is a warning sign of a more serious disease.

Simsane, yes I've used the vitamins by themselves, but they don't have as good of a result without the fruit. I do get the doctor's consultation when one of them gets sick soon after being treated for a symptom and/or when one of them are weakened like you suggested. But the meds you give them doesn't help their health bar go up. The fruit will though, and it makes it go up quicker than anything I've tried. It's most effective when you have two or more fruits on hand to give a weakened peep. I buy it up everytime it's in the store and keep it on hand.

I know, I read your advice about the fruit on a different thread too and have been buying it ever since. Frustrating though that you can't buy more than one of the same type of fruit (or more than one of anything, really) as I would love to keep two blood oranges and two sweet mangos at a time. Especially once their house is all fixed already and their fridge is full to bursting. That would be nice, wouldn't it?

Yes, that aggravates me too! I think you should be able to buy as much as you have money to pay for. smile I feel that way about the clothes too. If you have one outfit (male or female) in your tooltray the game won't let you buy another to have on hand. I don't like that!
