I always check with the doctor if one of my little family have constant coughs etc. and look a bit run down. Many times the doctor has told me to use penicillin or something else. If the results of test are negative then it is good to know that there is "no infection" if you are worried about one of your little peeps. So, no it is not a waste of money.

When you have the money in the bank then you just treat your little family as you would your real life one - any doubts, send for the doc!!
