I've been testing my peeps too, and I also get 1 year = 4 real hours. 6 years per 24 hour cycle. I hope they don't change it to 1 year = 2 hours because if they enter the house at 27 and age 12 years per 24 hours, they would only be around 2 - 3 days!

And the kids would be around even less, leaving at 18! It would be 1.5 days. I thought my naughty kids were bothering the household longer than that.
