They don't really need any special help other than praise. I usually set mine at their workplace and when they start working I praise them with the glove. If they fail and start to walk away I put them back at their workplace. Then when they succeed if they start to walk away I pick them up and put them back and give them a piece of candy or fruit (Fruit is the best as it gives them energy. It also will improve their health if it is low.). Generally after that I usually don't have to do anything else. Most of my peeps reach Master 8 by the time (or before) they're 35. Praise is much more effective than the scolding glove. Just make sure you buy every piece of fruit and candy they get in their store to have it on hand. I always make sure there's a supply of it, when my peeps get old enough to die, to train the next generation.

One more thing yuyu; buy the workbook or magazine's for the profession of your ladies. Sometimes it puts them up a whole level and sometimes just a little bit. Though they're definately worth the money. You can use them on them every time they get them in the store if you want to.

Sometimes you can't see much change in their progress bar, but when they earn money it shows that they did progress. I've had the magazines bring a couple of my peeps up a whole level before. As a fact it happened just this evening. My little lady had a baby right after the honeymoon, so I used an Office Magazine on her, and it put her up a complete level. That was so neat! They're always worth the purchase I think. And you can use more than one on your little peep. I usually try to get mine to working, and then use it on them. I'm not sure but think that may make a difference in how the magazines are.
