I have a child who lost both his parents by age 12 and is now living by himself. How long can they keep this up, given that they won't unpack groceries at this age? It's a little sad, after his father died, he was "looking for attention" and there was no one to give him any. Now he is playing train by himself.

(Don't feel too bad for him though...this is the same kid that was "elated" when his mom died...)
