Today when I set my peep to watering plants he ended up in the kids' bedroom, took the watering can out of the middle of one of the beds and then walked over the other beds and out of the bedroom door !

I've seen mine get the watering can from somewhere in the house, but can't remember where.

Last night, dad pulled the watering can from a secret compartment on the side of the treadmill.

Mine pulled the watering can from underneath the desk. Just decided in the middle of working to go water the plants.

That's weird. I had one take the watering can from under the desk in the office. He then went and watered the roses, not the planters. At least he put the watering can back in the shed where it belongs!

My peep was shredding papers earlier today, and when she finished she reached into the shredder and pull out the watering can. That's the weirdest place they'd gotten one yet in my game.

Every time I see one of my peeps getting the watering can out of the house, they seem to water the roses or the isola plants, never the windowboxes. i think it's cute.

antonia, they won't water the window boxes unless you drop one of them on the watering cans in the shed. There's an award for watering them.

The creators of LDW are great in finding really funny things witch I wouldn't even think of. Ofcourse they are concerned about the rose and isola flowers, otherwise they die because of getting no water at all

Actually Lewanda, whenever I see that the flowers have faded back to grayish, I always drop my little people on the window boxes themselves to save them the long walk from the shed. They just grab a watering can from under the window boxes and go straight for the hose.

I can't get any of them to water anything. He goes over to the shed and picks up the watering can and then goes over to the hose and looks at me and shakes his head....why can't he get water from the hose? What should I do? Thank you Victoria

Victoria, if you have not yet repaired the leaky hose near the back door of the house (the kitchen door,) you will have to wait for the waterproof tape to restock in the store and make that repair first. After that is completed, drop them in the hot spot of either the window boxes or the water can in the shed to have them water the flowers.

I found the tape but when I went to put it on the hose, it got stuck in mid-air! I cannot get it back it is stuck there...how do I mend the hose? Thank you Victoria

Maybe if you closed (quit) the game, then re-opened it, the tape would be where it's supposed to be.

It's worth a try.

The tape should look like it's laying on the ground next to the hose. For instructions on how to use it see this thread.

I had one cute little 4 year old come cruising out of the shower with the watering can and he proceeded to water the Isola plants and the roses. Talk about multi-tasking! How cute is that? lol
