I have an interesting situation. In my second generation, there was a girl named Gaga. I chose Gaga's sister Akania to start the third generation. Akania recently had a baby girl, auto-named Gaga. I tried to change baby Gaga's name, but when I did it also changed the name of the Gaga in the previous generation (which I didn't want). Is this a glitch, or just an odd occurrence? Thanks for your help, and hopefully that made sense.

Apparently there's a few bugs in the game that Arthur needs to work out. One of them being the remote that ends up in places where it can't be retrieved. Another being a child that disappears for good when it goes to hide. Hopefully he will make at least one more update to the game.

Gee, I don't see the name as a glitch. I'm named after my mother who is named after her aunt. We have many of the same name, not just mine, in lots of generations in my family.

The way i understood it the name part wasn't the glitch, when she changed the name though it changed both names and not just the one she wanted changed.

Exactly. I know that people can be named after other people, and that the random name generator may come up with the same name more than once. If Niece Gaga wants to be called Gina (or whatever), Aunt Gaga shouldn't have to change her name to Gina too. Just wanted to throw it out there as a possible issue for future updates.
