Can someone else check how quick they age by taking a note of the time & their age, and checking in 12 - 24 hours later to see how old they get. I did this with my child who the mother had just stopped nursing, so he was 2, and 15 real hours later, he just turned 5.

I'm not complaining, I don't want them to age 1 year every 2 hours. She seemed to nurse for 4 hours though, which is 2 hours for each year.

I'll try to do that tomorrow, Bren. I don't think they actually age 1 year for every two hours either as it definitely doesn't seem that way in my game either. I know that's the case for the first two years while nursing, but after that I don't think it actually works out to that, but maybe. I'll try to post back either tomorrow night sometime (it's the middle of the night where I live right now) or during the day on Wednesday.

Thanks Simsane, I really appreciate that.

I hope mine isn't a bug as I don't want to go to bed with them being 2 & playing the next night and they're 14!

At the moment, it's been 20 hours and he's six, so he's aged 4 years in 20 real hours.

Hi Bren! (simsane's smiling and waving at you!) Okay, I checked with a bunch of them, but I'll list 4 here:

Fate 24 years old yesterday at 11:00 a.m. and 30 years old today at 11:00 a.m. So, she aged 6 years in 24 hours, which is 1 year for every four hours real time.

Logory and Katetta were both 45 years old yesterday at 11:05 a.m. and were both 51 at 11:04 a.m. Again, 1 year for every four hours.

Vanilla was 7 yesterday at 11:08 a.m. and she is now 13. Same thing -- she has aged 6 years in 24 hours, so 1 year for every four hours.

I know that they do go from birth to 2 in about 4 hours, but I think after that it requires 4 hours for one year. Actually, I'm glad it's not 1 year for every two hours or else we would barely be able to play them before they died.

Thanks Simsane, I feel better now. I'm not going mad. laugh

I've been testing my peeps too, and I also get 1 year = 4 real hours. 6 years per 24 hour cycle. I hope they don't change it to 1 year = 2 hours because if they enter the house at 27 and age 12 years per 24 hours, they would only be around 2 - 3 days!

And the kids would be around even less, leaving at 18! It would be 1.5 days. I thought my naughty kids were bothering the household longer than that. blush
