No. I just pick the ones I think are cute. Sometimes I consider what the children will probably look like.

Once you have the six kids trophy, it doesn't matter if they want kids or not. They might not have six, but they'll have a few whether they want them or "no way!"

Likes and dislikes don't matter because you can change them.

Jobs don't matter past the second generation because you have too much money anyway.

So... I only go by what they look like.

I wasn't sure if they passed on their physical traits to the next generation or not, haven't really paid attention to that.

Not very picky. I feel bad rejecting them .-. I thought about being picky, but then I thought "How often in life does someone propose to you?" and I figured I shouldn't push my luck xDD

I try get the marriage trophies done. Either they are rich($200+) or poor($75-) or have the same job. Then I look if they want kids or not.

The most obvious trait they will pass on to their children is the color of their hair. I found that aspect of the game was pretty close to real life, or at least logical. I like it a lot. And the variety of people is great too.

I'm shallow: I go for looks and/or money. I don't worry in the least about the desire for children ... I don't have kids myself and it just doesn't matter to me.

And I've learned that even the 'no way!' peeps have no problem actually *having* kids - my first family had a 'no way!' gal and a 'maybe' guy and they ended up with SIX children (five natural and one adopted).

I always try to make sure the husband is older then the wife. I'll reject loads of proposals until the right age comes along.
