What does studying do for the kids?

Anything? I praise them for doing it, but I can't tell it does anything. I also have a 16 and 18 year old who are still at home. Is there a way to send them to college?

They will go to college on their own, at age 18, before they are 19. Studying doesn't really do anything in the game.

Caty... you always have to set them on the thing and have them do it. None of the little people will do the housework without prompt.

It depends what you mean by kids ... The teenagers (14-18) will study and carry out a lot of other school-related tasks like "researching a paper on the Internet" (meaning copying and pasting a Wikipedia article). They will also do a lot of the chores without prompting. The younger ones (up to 13) will carry out some chores, but not so many. They spend more of their time playing.

Hi
I had a 3 year old that fixed my computer router. I wish if we made them study more that they could have higher paying jobs when they inherited the house.
