The new behaviors for cats now have the cat scratching the furniture! I am a Maine Coon breeder & we teach our cats to use a scratching post!!! Please have one for sale in the store. Otherwise I request you remove this behavior as it perpetuates a bad image for cats.

My families cat did that, and I automatically reached for the red hand xD

My favorite thing is when the cat goes to lay down with whoever is tired or sick. That's what cats do!

My real cat does that to get attention, for ten years I tried everything to stop her with no result. At last we comprimised; I attached a scratching platform on two sides of the couch. For the game, well, I must admit it sort of looks cute, since the cat doesn't destroy the furniture .

Plus, if you click on the cat, she'll immediately stop and sit down (another click and she'll lie down). Wish my cats were so obedient.

yeah, if I ever do such a thing to my real cat, she will immediately turn around and start to scratch me instead of the couch; she thinks she owns everything in the house, including me, and every behavior againist that should be punished (ok, she had lots of health problems when she was little; I admit, I spoiled her a little )
