Is anyone else having the problem of the game freezing on shut down? I have to start task manager every time to quit the game. Task manager says'not responding' after I have quit.

Arthur has investigated those freezes on shutdown, both in Virtual Families and VV3, and he has determined that it's being caused by low-level Windows audio functions. The best advice that we can provide at this time is to make sure that your computer's audio drivers updated.

I have all the ldw games, vv1-4 planr tycoon and fish tycoon and only vf has this shut down problem and this only started when I started a 2nd family, When I just ran the one it was ok.

My games freezes if I try to play without full screen.
It lags and freezes.

My game is doing the same as Stonzee's. it has just been doing it since yesterday though. i also have all of my audio drivers and nvidia up to date

Glad this isn't just me. Started about 3 or so days ago. Sometimes it quits fine. Other times the screen freezes when I ask for it to quit. Everything is up to date.

Mine freezes like that sometimes when I try to exit the game also. I think it actually started with the last update. All my driver's are up to date. I have other games that are much much larger than VF and don't have this problem, so I don't understand why it's doing it.

Mine doesn't freeze, but I have to play on the smaller screen because of my refresh options interferring with the game. There is no way to change them either - I checked.

I have to play on full screen. I can't play on the smaller screen that is when the game lags. The peeps stop and start and move in very very slow motion. Then the game just freezes.

My audio and video drivers are as up to date as they can be.

Ok, mine isnt doing the same thing that stonzee's is doing. i have to play on the smaller screen because it lags and freezes when i play on the Full screen.
