Does anyone know how to get back a player game that got deleted by accident? This was my first winning game. Son hit the wrong button, while I was showing him how to delete a losing game.

Savegame files are deleted immediately from the Fish Tycoon folder when you confirm the delete. Unless you've backed up your savegame files, or have an "undelete" utility, there is no way to retrieve them.

On my Windows version I don't get a comfimation to delete. Hit delete by accident, and it's gone. I lost my first winning game by accident that way. One wrong click and all that work down the tube.

Now I DO backup my whole Fish Tycoon folder regularly. It backs up more than I need, but it's quick and easy! -- and you can even run the older files if you open the Fish Tycoon in the folder! ....... It's a great way to keep old loved games and fishies, too!

Well, yeah, unfortunately you 'confirm' the delete when you click on the delete button. I've accidentally deleted games before, too. That darn Delete is sooooo compelling, sitting right there next to the name.
